Can I reserve a rental without paying any money today? 

No, we always require 50% payment to reserve your time and date. There’s no verbal holds or guarantees until you sign a rental agreement and pay. If you call and check availability then call back later to pay the spot may be gone. If your sign the rental agreement and don’t pay immediately then you have no guaranteed slot. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via Zelle (rent@blazewatersports.com) or Venmo (@lakeparty). We also take the second half payment in cash when you show up for the rental. This only applies to the second half payment. We don’t hold any watercraft for someone that can’t pay via zelle or Venmo and wants to pay all in cash upon arrival. 

Are listed prices subject to change? 

High volume holiday and weekend rates are subject to be higher than listed rates. Call to check.

Where do I go the day of my rental? 

We‘ll send you the address to your pick up location at one of our lake houses once you sign the rental agreement and pay. We do this so we don’t have a bunch of random people show up and take parking spots from paying customers who have rented the boat, skis, or lake house. Both houses are located close to ”Sammy’s on the Lake”. Check them out before or after your rental. It’s a great family owned lake bar/restaurant with awesome Tacos!

Am I physically fit enough to ride a Jet Ski? How old to Rent or Ride any watercraft?

Chances are if you can't do a pull-up, then you you may not be able to pull yourself back on a ski in the event you fall off. All riders and renters must be 18+ and each will sign a liability waiver prior to riding. This applies to riders that are not directly renting from us as well. ID must be presented upon arrival. MAX weight for 2 riders is 300lbs.

If I lose or damage the watercraft or items related to the watercraft will I be liable to pay for damages/replacement?

YES! No excuses! Applies to keys, life jackets, parts of watercraft, etc....

Can I show up with 3+ people to rent 1 Jet Ski?

No, you can't. These are 2 persons per ski max. There isn't a waiting area for people to come back and forth taking turns. The jet ski should only return to the launch area when it's time to return the jet ski. Ex. If you rent 2 jet ski's, then a maximum of 4 riders should show up and they all have to leave together. Again there is no hangout area to take turns on the jet ski.

Why would the rental be terminated immediately?

Not following the boating safety rules or terms per the contract. EX. Speeding in the NO WAKE zone is ground for immediate rental termination. You can be considered speeding in the no wake zone if you are cruising at a pace that is faster than 3 mph. Just be patient.  EX. If the company rep see that the person who is suppose to be driving the boat is intoxicated. EX. A company rep notices that the watercraft has been damaged or someone on-board is SMOKING. EX. Company rep notices someone that didn't sign a contract and safety rules form is operating the watercraft.

Can the boat operator consume alcohol during the rental time or bring food on the watercraft?

Absolutely NOT! Nobody on-board can SMOKE either! You will get taken to jail if stopped by the boat police or worse you could injure someone. No cooking food on the watercraft. Deposit will be immediately forfeited. Lake safety should be taken very seriously. $20hr for us to provide a boat Captain (HE does accept TIPS as well:) He knows the lake, marinas, restaurants, party cove, and chill spots. Plus, you won't have to worry about damaging the boat.

Do you provide life jackets?

Yes, we provide jackets in the sizes that we have available. If you have your own jacket, then bring it. We don't offer any baby or toddler/small child size jackets. Don't show up with a child who doesn't have a life jacket that fits them like it's suppose to. The boat police will give you a citation for children not wearing a jacket. All people on the watercraft must wear a life jacket at all times.

Is there a damage deposit?

Yes, $150 CASH for each JET SKI. The Pontoon Party Boat has a deposit of $50 even though you are using our driver. This is applied towards a cleaning fee unless you clean the mess off the boat at the end of your rental. If you show up without your drivers license/passport/ID or credit card with verified deposit funds the rental will not proceed and you'll lose any money paid. Do not show up and try to negotiate this, there are no exceptions made.

If I show up late, does that mean my rental time is extended?

No, you need to show up at least 15 minutes early to go over rules and safety procedures. If you show up right at your scheduled time then you are basically costing yourself rental time that you've paid for since an explanation or rules and safety procedures is mandatory before any rental.

If I call to cancel my reservation the day I'm suppose to pick up will I be refunded?

No, you will not be refunded. We need at least 48hrs notice for a weekday rental and 7 days notice for a weekend or holiday rental. We cannot take a complete loss because you changed your plans at the last minute. If we are able to get the boat booked up again on short notice we will definitely refund you for the time we are able to make the money back. We want to keep everyone happy and understand it's frustrating losing money, but we have the business aspect to look at. Please understand it as if you were running the business yourself. We turn people down all week to keep you your time frame.
